As all are aware the the primary objective of growing trees and producing timber is generate income for the owner, fundamental to this is the need to ensure that all material that is harvested in the forest is accounted for and paid for. To ensure that this takes place we operate a Timber Removal Permit System with all our hauliers as we only allow timber to be removed from the forest by our own transport. The system operates as follows:

- The permits we issue outline all information relative to the particular load of timber.
- A block of permits are issued to the owner for signing
- As material becomes available and is ready for collection we issue a permit to a haulier with instructions to collect a load.
- The driver arrives at an already located post box in the forest where he completes his section of the permit. Name , address, time, product to be collected, destination etc. He then deposits the white part of the triplicate docket in the post box and continues to collect the load.
- On arrival at his destination the driver weighs his load and secures a printed weight for himself. He leaves a copy of the forest removal permit at the destination attached to the relevant weight docket. He also retains a copy of the weight docket and along with it he returns the third part of the removal permit to Forwood for our accounts and reconciliation with the owner.
- The dockets are either removed from the docket box by the owner or by Forwood. When harvesting and removals are complete a total reconciliation of the lot takes place using the removal permits and the corresponding weight dockets
Resulting from this reconciliation the owner is immediately paid for timber removed.
